Foundation: 2005

Mission: GJU is the result of a strong commitment for close academic cooperation between Jordan and Germany. Therefore international cooperation will always remain one of the key targets of the university. Hence the first mission of the International Office is to support the internationalization of the University by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with universities mainly within Germany. Secondly we need to engage GJU’s teachers and students in educational and practical experiences internationally. The IO consults, prepares and manages this particular phase within the study career of every student in close cooperation with the Exchange Coordinators of GJU and the IOs of our partner universities. On the other hand International Office is facilitating the contribution of international students and scholars to GJU’s world of knowledge. Looking ahead the mission of International Office is to enhance GJU as a forum that is connecting culture, education and science of different countries and thus serving the societies of these countries.
