Mission: The Universidad del Bío-Bío, based on its public, socially responsible and state nature, has as its mission, from the Regions of Biobío and Ñuble, to contribute to society with the formation of integral people, through a Higher Education of excellence. Committed to regional and national challenges, it contributes to mobility and social integration through the generation and transfer of advanced knowledge, through quality undergraduate and graduate teaching, fundamental, applied and developmental research, two-way links with the environment, continuous training and extension. Likewise, it promotes entrepreneurship and innovation, the strengthening of internationalization and the sustainable development of its activities, based on a participatory culture centered on respect for people.
