Mission: The mission of the Federal University of Campina Grande is to insert it in the socially committed regional development, without losing sight of contact with the contemporary world, in its global context, preserving foundations and principles such as the maintenance of the space where ethics, coherence and democracy are the beacons for the teaching, research and extension activities. The Federal University of Campina Grande intends to produce and socialize the knowledge in the various fields of knowledge, in order to contribute to forming citizens capable of acting in the construction of democracy and social justice, in addition to providing training of qualified professionals suitable for the world of work.
Vision: Located in the State of Paraíba, the UFCG seeks to be recognized as a public institution Multicampi, of national and international excellence in Teaching, Research and Extension, consolidating its performance in an integrated manner with society and committed to the sustainable development, with the promotion of democracy, citizenship, rights human, social justice and environmental and professional ethics.
