We want science rooted in the most solid principles to be cultivated in this environment, which is conducive to serene reflection, and for its light to be projected into all fields of knowledge. In order to reach this level of quality, we must bring together people of the highest possible qualifications, offer them the means for their ongoing formation and acquire the technical and economic resources that will enable us to carry out our mission.
We want a University that is open to every person who wishes to come to it to prepare himself or herself with professional competence; that, valuing right judgment and coherence of life, with a decision to serve others, is capable of stimulating, through his or her work, the configuration of a more just and more humane society.
