Mission: The mission of the National Polytechnic School is to train academics and professionals in engineering and science, with ethical awareness, solidarity, criticism, capable of contributing to the welfare of the community, as well as to generate, disseminate and transmit scientific and technological knowledge, with social responsibility, as a result of a dynamic interaction with the actors of Ecuadorian society and the international community.

Vision: The Escuela Politécnica Nacional is a public university with international standards of excellence, being a reference in science, technology and innovation. Its capacities and efforts are oriented to the service of the community, contributing to the cultural development, within a framework of principles and transcendental values of the human being.
