Mission: In accordance with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) indicated by the UN (2030 agenda), ISSMC aims to carry out the fundamental study, modeling and applied research of ceramic materials with sustainable processes (time-energy-resource saving technologies), placing particular attention to the recycling/enhancement of waste and by-products of different origins and nature and to the reduction of critical and/or harmful raw materials according to the most modern principles of eco-design and green chemistry capable of satisfying the needs of society and in support of national industry.
