Vision: To be a modern institute, recognized by the national and international scientific community and by Brazilian society for the relevance of its research on the Amazon, and recognized as a provider of subsidies for public policies for regional development.

The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents.
