Mission: The National Institute of Health is a public entity of the national order belonging to the science, technology and innovation sector and the Health and Social Protection sector; coordinates the public health surveillance system in the country, the operation of the donation, transplantation and blood networks and generates specialized technical knowledge in public health for the formulation, adjustment and evaluation of public policies; Likewise, it trains highly specialized human talent for public health surveillance and produces inputs of special interest for public health.
