Mission: Our mission is to support students and other members of the University of Hildesheim in shaping a change towards a sustainable University of Hildesheim. That is why we are committed to this, " to anchor the Green Office as a central institution for sustainability, " to establish new and practical teaching and learning formats " to enable a broad participation of all university members, " to develop and promote measures for a sustainable university life "to establish an advisory board for sustainable development at the University of Hildesheim.
Vision: The University of Hildesheim is developing into a real laboratory in which sustainability is lived, taught and researched as a cross-sectional topic. A critical mass of students as tomorrow's decision-makers will play a decisive role in shaping the University of Hildesheim as a student university with a role model character in society.

The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents.
