To continue innovating in care and management techniques and procedures, as well as to continue promoting research and training among professionals are necessary elements to continue advancing in professional and personal development as the only possible way to assume our challenge before society. A society that demands a more human and personalized treatment, that needs to participate in the decisions that are taken in health matters, and before which we professionals have to give answers that improve accessibility and information needs.
Vision: Our VISION is to strengthen our position as a healthcare, technological and educational reference, where citizens perceive that their health and well-being come first, and where professionals feel that they are participants in the goals and objectives of the centre.

The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents.
