Foundation: 1989

Mission: HUCA is a public, university and reference hospital that contributes to the well-being of citizens by providing health care and carrying out teaching and research activities, with criteria of quality, safety, efficiency, sustainability and innovation, promoting the commitment and development of its professionals and responding to the expectations and needs of society.

Vision: HUCA wants to be a Public Hospital of reference in assistance, teaching and research, oriented to the integral and interdisciplinary attention, centered in the needs of the users, and organized by agile processes in a welcoming and comfortable environment. To achieve this, we want to have competent and motivated professionals in an innovative hospital, modern in technology and organization and efficient in the use of resources.
