Mission: The Hospital Universitario Príncipe de Asturias is a public hospital of the Community of Madrid that, within the framework of free choice, provides citizens with specialized health care. It also ensures continuity of care by working in close collaboration with Primary Care. Maximum quality care will lead to patient satisfaction, through a process of continuous improvement in its care, teaching and research aspects, in a respectful, accessible and friendly environment.
Vision: To be recognized as an effective, safe and efficient institution in the health care of the citizens and that seeks excellence, through the incorporation of the opinion of the citizens, the best technology, the continuous training of its professionals and the promotion of research. To develop the teaching character of the Prince of Asturias University Hospital, located on the campus of the University of Alcalá, in the areas of undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as specialized training for residents. We want to be a hospital that gives patients confidence and safety, with the best professionals and that is attractive to those who choose us for their training.
