Mission: The Mission of the Reina Sofia University Hospital is to improve the level of health of its reference population by providing highly specialized and quality health care through the authorized service portfolio.
The Hospital will ensure continuity of care through the necessary coordination with Primary Care.
It will ensure that the provision of services responds to the needs and expectations of citizens by incorporating the techniques, procedures and innovations that ensure a permanently updated and cutting-edge portfolio, as befits a third-level hospital.
As a university hospital, the mission of the centre is to contribute to the training of undergraduate students in related disciplines: currently Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy.
Likewise, it is the Hospital's mission to train specialist doctors in the different areas of knowledge.
Together with the Maimonides Institute of Biomedical Research of Córdoba (IMIBIC), the hospital has among its goals to promote innovation and quality research in health-related areas.
