Foundation: 1985

Mission: The fundamental objective of ICMA is to contribute to the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge in the area of Materials Science and Technology through the performance of quality scientific and technical research. This quality has to be contrasted through the publication of results in the most prestigious international journals, as well as the participation in regional, national and international research and transfer projects and by the transfer of knowledge to the industrial environment in the mentioned areas.
