Mission: The IVIA is the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research of the Generalitat Valenciana whose mission is to contribute to a productive and sustainable agricultural activity, boosting the competitiveness of the agricultural, livestock and agri-food sectors by generating knowledge that responds to technical demands, social, environmental and economic, through excellent applied research and optimal transfer of results
Vision: In 2022 the IVIA is a reference centre in agricultural research, promoting the technological development, and dynamic in the transfer of results to the sector Valencian agri-food industry, in cooperation with the agents of science, technology and innovation in Spain, Europe and worldwide
