Vision: The University of Cordoba wishes to achieve, through the development and fulfillment of its Strategic Plan, the following image Centre for the creation and dissemination of critical thinking. A university with a dynamic, up-to-date and high quality teaching offer, with continuous training processes, in an open and plural way, and closely linked to the needs of its environment. It is a reference point for research of excellence, dealing with all branches of knowledge, a national and international reference point and closely linked to the transfer of knowledge to companies. Cultural, scientific and social leader, which acts as a forum for discussion of the various trends in the different fields of science and culture, and responds to society in all those disciplines that affect its development. University with a strong internationalization in all its actions and processes. It is a leader in the cultural, social and technological transformation of the socio-geographical environment, generating social demands and cultural concerns. An institution that creates and disseminates critical, participative and supportive cultural habits and forms. University with highly qualified, motivated and enthusiastic human resources, with a strong sense of belonging and pride in the institution. A centre for personal, individual and collective development, beyond academic, technical and/or professional education. Integrator of different generations, trends and visions of the present. Institution with a conscience incorporated to the ordinary actions of full equality of women that it projects abroad. An integrative, multicultural and supportive university, with a strong component of cooperation and volunteering. A centre committed to the environment, defending its conservation, its quality and the sustainable use of natural resources as a way of increasing the well-being of society and the quality of life in its surroundings. It promotes the labour integration of its graduates and maintains a permanent link with them through continuous training actions. A centre that generates synergies and alliances with other universities, institutions and interest groups in the cultural, scientific, educational and technological fields in order to undertake programmes and projects of local, provincial, regional, national and international interest.
