Mission: The Company, characterized by the historical nature of its buildings, constitutes the San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital Complex, a historical, artistic and architectural heritage that tells the journey from the aesthetics of hospitality to the ethics of welcome and care. A historic hospital founded in 1338, located in the center of the capital, it is today a modern hospital company equipped with a Level II DEA. A reference center for Cardiology, Stroke Treatment, Perinatal Intensive Care, and the Regional Eye Bank. Several multidisciplinary Operating Units with Highly Specialized characteristics operate within it. The San Giovanni Addolorata Company is characterized by its public function of health protection, strongly oriented towards service and responsive to the needs of its patients. It satisfies the demand for health expressed by citizens through the provision of health services, ensuring essential, effective, appropriate, personalized and innovation-oriented interventions. The guiding principles to which the Company conforms its actions are: · centrality of the person and respect for human dignity · universality of assistance and equity in access to services · quality, efficacy, safety and appropriateness of care · ethics and transparency of choices and behaviors · economic sustainability and management efficiency.
Vision: The strategic vision of the Company is oriented towards: · creating an organization aimed at guaranteeing fair, effective, appropriate, timely and person-oriented health services · continuously, constantly and participatively enhancing human resources by enhancing their skills and abilities · adapting and innovating instrumental, technological and IT resources to provide health services in line with the most advanced scientific research · adopting procedures that guarantee appropriateness and scientific evidence of health interventions to protect the health rights of patients.
