Mission: Within the knowledge society, the idea that the university pursues a "third mission" in addition to the traditional ones of research and higher education is now well established. The University of Verona is committed to many activities to offer its contribution to support technological, economic and social innovation in the territory and the country. The third mission activities include both the enhancement of research, especially with regard to companies, and the production of public goods of a social, educational and cultural nature, in a constant dialogue with citizens and the territory.
