Mission: Colegio de la Frontera Sur is a public scientific research center that seeks to contribute to the sustainable development of the southern border of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean through the generation of knowledge, the formation of human resources, and the linking of social and natural sciences.

Vision: To be a leading Public Research Center in the formation of high-level researchers and generation of scientific and technological knowledge at the frontier, with a growing national and international impact that contributes in a visible and relevant way to the sustainable solution of problems in the southeast region of the country, expanding our presence in society and contemporary culture.
