Mission: The University, as a public and autonomous institution of secondary and higher education, has the mission of training quality professionals, with prestige and social recognition, committed to the promotion of sustainable human development and capable of contributing to the definition of policies and formulation of strategies to reduce economic, social and cultural inequalities in the state of Sinaloa, within the framework of strengthening the nation.

Vision: The Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa operates globally consolidated educational and academic models that allow it to have a wide national and international recognition; it carries out permanent processes of teacher updating, professionalization of its administrative staff, continuous certification and national and international accreditation of its educational programs; its processes of accountability to society are transparent; it has a highly qualified academic staff and trains students in an integral manner.
