Mission: The mission of the CIC is to promote, sponsor, study, guide, coordinate and carry out scientific and technical research on tasks related to the experimentation, use and application of scientific knowledge of interest for the management of the provincial state; seeking to coordinate efforts at the provincial level and advising the Executive Branch on issues of competence Development of the Human Resources of the Science and Technology system of the province. Vision: People: To be a great place to train and strengthen human resources and to generate environments that motivate people to be more capable professionals. To propose the entrance of scholarship holders and researchers to the provincial scientific system taking care of gender equity. Agenda or portfolio of programs and projects: Prioritize research topics that are of interest to the Province. Propose and promote research or special projects aimed at the development of science and technology, which also impact on the provincial territory. Research Centers: To generate a predisposing environment for the scientific work of scholarship holders and researchers, for which research centers are created and/or associated and subsidies and grants are awarded, within the framework of approved plans, projects and/or programs. Scientific information: To maintain updated information on the provincial scientific reality, to gather and to facilitate the necessary informative material for the investigations, including advice. Dissemination of activities: Disseminate the results of scientific and technical work and facilitate the use of these results. To sponsor congresses and scientific and technical meetings. Interactions: Establish and maintain relations with science organizations from other provinces, national and international.
