Mission: Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University is focusing its work on five essential missions. First of all, it is keen to provide solid training that is constantly adapted to the changing needs of society, in all its forms: initial, continuing, distance and lifelong learning, and in all disciplines, from the exact sciences to the humanities, including natural, medical and social sciences. Secondly, it seeks to prepare young students for integration into working life, in particular by developing know-how and establishing appropriate conditions for study and life. And on the basis of scientific and technological research, the University undertakes to develop it by improving the quantity and quality of scientific production and contributing to innovation and the transfer of technology and knowledge to society. Moreover, the University places at the heart of its missions the contribution to the overall development of the country by strengthening dialogue with the economic, social, cultural, political and educational communities and by participating in addressing the main challenges facing society and the region, including sustainable development. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to the promotion of universal values by intensifying its relations and links with international circles and institutions and by supporting the mobility of its students and staff. Finally, we can say that the University aims to be a university that is highly participatory in the life of society and not closed in on itself.
Vision: Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fez aspires to be among the top three Moroccan multidisciplinary universities or one of the twenty largest universities in Africa, recognized for its commitment to excellence, through the quality of its student-centered training and world-class scientific and technological research. The University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah of Fez will act as a force for change and progress through its contribution to the sustainable development of its region Fez-Meknes, the Moroccan and universal society by being respectful of the environment.
