Foundation: 1923

Mission: For its core activities of research and teaching, Radboud University draws its inspiration from academic curiosity and the demands placed upon the university by society. The booklet Mission Statement outlines the university’s mission and basic principles. It also highlights a number of historical events hat helped shape the university, and describes the academic paraphernalia: the university’s coat of arms, the Rector’s chain of office and the beadle’s mace.
