The well-being of our patients is the focus of our activities. We treat them and their relatives with appreciation, openness, compassion and discretion and take their individual needs into account in a culturally sensitive manner. We treat the patients entrusted to us according to the current state of knowledge with the most modern procedures in order to guarantee the best possible care. Research and teaching We are committed to the ideal of free, independent research and teaching. Through our research we improve the foundations of medical knowledge and the actions derived from it for the benefit of our patients. We educate our students on the current state of scientific knowledge and at the same time with a practical orientation. It is important to us not only to impart knowledge, abilities and skills, but also respect in dealing with patients, sensitivity for the ethical dimensions of our actions and enthusiasm for medicine. Sustainability We ensure that all professional groups involved in patient care, research, teaching and administration receive ongoing training and further education at the highest level.
