Mission: CIMNE has a vocation to transfer the scientific and technical results of the RTD projects to the industrial sector. This is effectively carried out in cooperation with companies from different sectors that exploit and commercialize the CIMNE technology. CIMNE has actively promoted the creation of spin-off companies, some of them totally or partially owned by CIMNE, which play an important role in the industrialization and exploitation of CIMNE technology.

The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents.
