Mission: The Bologna University Hospital Authority St. Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic develops and delivers multi-specialist research, education and training in an integrative manner. The Hospital promotes innovation and pursues the highest degree of both patient/customer care and the training of medical students, as well as expanding the full potential of its skilled staff through goal sharing and assuming responsibility for any results.

Vision: The Hospital’s vision as defined by the General Administration is based on five priority areas of intervention: The integration of the Medical School and Hospital (services, research, training) Hospital management system. The local and national position of the Hospital. The modernization of the building structure and facilities Budget. The first three areas of intervention have been defined in our official communications and various strategic actions. Regarding the modernization of the building structure and its facilities, an investment program has already been established. The balancing of the budget is the result of all the strategic actions.
