Mission: We are a public health organization of the Community of Madrid, belonging to the Madrid Health Service, which provides services through the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor and the Hospital Virgen de la Torre as well as the Specialty Centers and Mental Health Centers that it has attached. Our mission is to provide specialized health care to the citizens of Vallecas and all others who request our services, also developing teaching and research activities. To this end, we assume a model of teamwork with a highly motivated group of professionals, characterized by Accessibility, effectiveness and clinical safety, as well as continuity of care with Primary Care. Respect for our patients, their families and caregivers, achieving a friendly hospital. Efficiency in the use of the resources assigned to us as an unavoidable requirement to contribute to the sustainability of the public health system. The development of knowledge that benefits society through teaching and research. To be an agile, flexible organization, permanently adapting to the needs of our interest groups, with a management model based on excellence and the continuous improvement of its processes. To have an innovative spirit, supported by the search and implementation of advanced and/or disruptive technologies.
