Mission: To establish the highest academic standards and provide acquisition of knowledge and skills in accordance with the needs of the society and the projected social development i.e. to offer a curricula and application of modern methods of education involving scientific research processes, to educate young and highly qualified professionals in the field of agricultural science and practice, able to use their knowledge, and a devotion to support the development of agriculture as a strategic branch of the Republic of Srpska and BiH, in accordance with contemporary European trends of sustainable development.
Vision: A basic vision of the Faculty of Agriculture, University in Banja Luka, is the establishment of a modern higher education system, compatible with the relevant universities in the region and EU member states, in which the research approach is essential for acquiring of new knowledge. Faculty of Agriculture, with its six Institutes, is the main carrier of scientific research and technological development in the field of agricultural science in the Republic of Srpska. As the most important institution of higher education in the field of agriculture and food production, the Faculty of Agriculture, University in Banja Luka, has a leading role in the development of education and science in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
