Mission: The mission of the University is to contribute to the improvement of health of Polish people and the quality of their lives by spreading and extending knowledge in the field of physical culture and by increasing skills of professional specialists to apply knowledge in various fields of physical education, motor recreation, sports and physiotherapy for the benefit of individual citizens and the whole society by developing physical culture in Poland. The mission of the University is also to cultivate and develop academic traditions, strengthen the ethos of knowledge, freedom and respect for the European principles of democracy.
