Vision: Health is the most precious asset and the source of humanity's wealth. In this sense, it concerns all public policies and government agencies, as well as the community, to forge environments and conditions that generate health. This way of conceiving health transcends the traditional concept focused on healing and pain relief measures, whose objective is to enable people to work; In other words, it is proposed to go beyond prevention, timely detection, cure and rehabilitation. The new vision puts man, his social and environmental environment as the end, to broaden his horizons of autonomy and freedom, as well as to live healthily for the greatest number of years. That is why the new health model, Salud en tu vida, aims to make health a universal and enforceable human right, supportive and comprehensive, inclusive and equitable, as mandated by the Political Constitution of Mexico City. Said vision and this precept imply a political and social pact for health.
