Foundation: 2006

Mission: The mission of SINANO is “Devoting to nanotechnology innovation and leading the way for emerging industry”. SINANO has the unique strength of strong support from various levels of local governments, Under the correct leadership of Party Committee of CAS, SINANO fully complies with the“Pioneer Initiative” Program of CAS, executes the category reform of CAS-affiliated research institutes, and actively implements the“Innovation 2020” and “One-Three-Five” Strategic Plan, One of the mojor tasks is the construction of “Vacuum Interconnected Nanotech Workstation (NANO-X)”. Significant progress has been made in planning of thematic research and construction of instruments platform. In the servicing to industry and academics, recruitment of technical talents, technology R&D, and transferring research to industry, SINANO is all doing well and has become the focal point of regional science and technology innovation, technology transfer, technical training, scientific and technological exchanges.
