Mission: Proveer a los investigadores y profesionales de disciplinas relacionadas de una plataforma óptima que les permita realizar trabajos punteros en investigación, desarrollo e innovación sobre neurociencia cognitiva del lenguaje.

Vision: BCBL aspira a ser reconocido internacionalmente como un centro vasco de excelencia en investigación en la neurociencia cognitiva del lenguaje: Centrarse en objetivos estratégicos relevantes a nivel mundial y específicamente destinados a apoyar el desarrollo competitivo de la ciencia, la economía y la sociedad en el País Vasco. Liderar una cooperación eficiente entre los diferentes agentes del sistema vasco de investigación y desarrollo. Tratar de hacer del País Vasco un imán y foco de atención para actividades relacionadas con la neurociencia cognitiva del lenguaje. Promover y desarrollar la transmisión a la sociedad del conocimiento generado por su actividad investigadora.
