Mission: The mission for the establishment of ICBR is to build a platform for bamboo and rattan scientific research to undertake international exchanges and cooperation on bamboo and rattan; promote the sustainable development of bamboo and rattan in the world; provide services for INBAR, the first non-profit, intergovernmental international organization headquartered in China; support and assist INBAR to fulfill its mission, and enable China to better implement the INBAR Headquarters Agreement.
