Mission: The HES-SO provides practice-oriented tertiary education at the university level which is primarily a continuation of basic vocational training. Its training courses are sanctioned by a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the HES-SO. The offer also includes postgraduate studies and professional development. The HES-SO carries out applied research and development projects, the results of which it integrates into its courses. It provides services to third parties and ensures exchanges with the practical world. The HES-SO encourages the transfer of knowledge, technologies and artistic practices. It is multidisciplinary and oriented towards innovation and creativity. It contributes to the broadening of knowledge and its development for the benefit of students and society. It also seeks to ensure sustainable economic, social, ecological, environmental and cultural development and takes into account bilingualism in the cantons concerned. The HES-SO collaborates with other education and research institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
