Mission: Réunir les éléments nécessaires à l’identification des projets de recherche à entreprendre ainsi que les données permettant leur programmation, leur exécution et leur évaluation ; Impulser et favoriser l’assimilation, la maîtrise, le progrès des sciences et techniques ainsi que l’innovation technologique dans le domaine des énergies renouvelables ; Assurer une veille scientifique et technologique en rapports avec les énergies renouvelables ; Rassembler et traiter l’information scientifique et technique et en assurer la conservation et la diffusion ; Contribuer à la valorisation des résultats de la recherche en veillant notamment à leur diffusion, à leur exploitation et à leur utilisation ; Assurer la formation continue, le recyclage et le perfectionnement des personnels de la recherche ; Contribuer à la formation par et pour la recherche ; Assurer la coordination, le suivi et l’évaluation des unités, des laboratoires et des équipes de recherche.
