Mission: "Several missions are defined for Dezful University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, namely provision, preservation, and promotion of the society health on national and local levels, in particular in the North of Khuzestan province, training efficient workforce being in parallel with the province and the country medical needs in the framework of the General Policies of the Country Health System and with regard to social justice. In the same vein, the following missions are defined further for Dezful University of Medical Sciences and Health Services: a. Utilizing of modern and up-to-date technologies. b. Setting apt standards and models on culture, religion, society, and well-fare accounts. c. Forming coordinative efforts among different sectors. d. Taking advantage of public contributions. e. Exploiting human, fiscal, physical, and data resources properly. f. Regarding all regulations and the charter of patients’ rights based on ethical, religious, national, and professional values. g. Making apt arrangements for prevention, treatment and health, diagnosis, and rehabilitation services in the country, the South-West of the country, and Khuzestan and the cities supported by Dezful University of Medical Sciences."
Vision: Dezful University of Medical Sciences and Health Services strives to be nationally recognized for its excellence medical education and research, and also to improve the health of the public in the north of Khuzestan province by promoting innovation and excellence in patient care. The university tries to consider the needs and demands of the local economy and society as well as to educate multi-skilled and socially responsible students.
