Mission: The college seeks to upgrade specialized studies and monographs on aspects of knowledge, humanities and science based on reconciling between the authenticity of Muslim heritage and the necessities of the current stage and future prospects that fulfil the scientific and practical needs of Muslim-individual or society-in the present and the future, launching from the Islamic cognitive depth of Islamic knowledge and scientific constants of contemporary knowledge, on the other hand, by the academic research tools to extract a scientific approach that faces problems concerning culture and human thought in conscious reading of Islam that is based on Ahlul-bayt approach and meet the requirements of current and future stages of the Islamic nation.
Vision: The college seeks to be one of the best academic institutions known for their originality, their ability to communicate with the international standards in terms of education and the application of knowledge and scientific research with community impact, and community service to achieve comprehensive lasting human development in the region and to be large in its bestowal, reflecting the national values that represent the fundamental requirement and the urgent need at the current stage, and for the participation of the Iraqis in building a new state, and contributing in the building of the infrastructure for Iraq, and serving the human by adopting scientific approach as a fundamental basis of Islamic civilization, and adopting the intellect as the basis for the succession of human and goes on the mandate of the almighty Allah sovereign over the world of existence, to carry the great inheritance of the eternal nation; to be the extension of history in its originality and its bestowal.
The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents. Finally, the societal ranking is based on the number of pages of the institution's website and the number of backlinks and mentions from social networks.
