Mission: The IIS Aragón facilitates research and effective innovation in Health Services through the generation of knowledge and its transfer of care.

Vision: To work for Excellence in the management of the IIS Aragón with the Miguel Servet and Clínico Lozano Blesa University Hospitals, Primary Care, the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences (IACS) and the University of Zaragoza. Position research groups with international leadership, capable of attracting public and private resources and transferring knowledge to healthcare practice and the industrial fabric. Have a solid Scientific Management, appropriately advised through the different advisory bodies and committees, with the capacity to make decisions on priority areas and lines of research, scientific policy, as well as on the organizational structure and competitive research facilities
