Foundation: 2015
Mission: The mission of Sant Joan de Déu Research Institute (IRSJD) is to carry out research on the health problems faced by paediatric medicine and on how these problems affect human development, both in the field of physical and mental health, with the aim of improving the well-being and quality of life.
Vision: The IRSJD aims to become a European reference model for comprehensive biomedical research on the health of people of paediatric age, focussing on the vital stages that affect overall human development.
The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents. Finally, the societal ranking is based on the number of pages of the institution's website and the number of backlinks and mentions from social networks.
